Micah Parsons traded to the Packers
The Dallas Cowboys are trading Pro Bowl pass rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, according to sources who spoke to ESPN. Dallas will receive two first-round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark in return, according to sources who spoke to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Parsons and the Packers have already reached an agreement on a four-year, $188 million contract extension that includes $120 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Parsons will make $62 million in the first year of the deal and will receive a total of $136 million guaranteed, which are both records for non-quarterbacks.
San Fran re-signs a wide receiver
The San Francisco 49ers announced that they are releasing safety Richie Grant in order to re-sign wide receiver Russell Gage Jr. to a one-year deal. Gage was originally released by the 49ers just two days ago, ahead of roster cuts.
Eight teams unveil “Rivalries” uniforms
The NFL and Nike unveiled the eight team uniforms that will debut this season as part of the Rivalries fan and uniform program announced earlier this year. Each of the teams in the AFC East and NFC West will wear these uniforms during a single home game scheduled for the 2025-26 regular season.
“The unveiling of the first eight Rivalries club uniforms and fan gear marks a significant moment for the NFL, Nike, and Fanatics, as creativity and innovation merge together to deliver a new take on what it means to be a rival,” said Taryn Hutt, the vice president of club marketing at the NFL. “Rivalries will bring fresh energy to the field with each new uniform, while providing a platform to amplify the community and hometown pride that is rooted in each NFL fan.”

Earlier today, the Cincinnati Bengals announced that they had signed guard Dalton Risner, who tried out with the team last week. As a former second-round draft pick, Risner has started in 81 of the 87 career regular-season games he has appeared in. Last year, he played in ten games for the Minnesota Vikings.
Atlanta announces several depth chart moves
Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that offensive linemen Brandon Parker, Jack Nelson, and Elijah Wilkinson are among the top candidates competing for the team’s starting right tackle job, according to NFL.com. On Tuesday, right tackle Kaleb McGary was placed on the injured reserve list with a season-ending leg injury.
Morris also announced that fourth-round draft pick Billy Bowman Jr. had won the starting nickel cornerback job, while third-rounder Xavier Watts had been named a starting safety alongside Jessie Bates. On top of that, wideout Jamal Agnew will be the team’s primary returner for punts and kickoffs.
Interest growing in Hunter Renfrow
Veteran wide receiver Hunter Renfrow has received interest from several teams, according to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, after he was released by the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday. In April, he was signed by the Panthers after not playing during the 2024-25 season.
