Spurs in talks over loan move for PSG striker

Tottenham are making a late bid to sign striker Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain.

Multiple reports suggest the France striker will sign a season-long loan deal with no option or obligation to make it permanent next summer.

Spurs are light in attacking areas with Dominic Solanke’s ankle injury leaving Richarlison as their only recognised number nine.

Solanke worry means Spurs have to act

Solanke missed Saturday’s home defeat to Bournemouth and is facing another fortnight on the sidelines.

Spurs boss Thomas Frank said: “It’s not like he re-injured it.

“It’s not progressing as quickly as we hoped for, but we are still positive that it can be solved in the next two weeks.”

Kolo Muani appears a good fit for Tottenham, who also have injury problems in attacking midfield areas with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski sidelined.

The 26-year-old joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for €90million in 2023 but has struggled to hold down a regular place in the side.

He spent the latter half of last season on loan at Juventus, scoring 10 goals and adding three assists in 22 games for the Bianconeri.

Kolo Muani started out at Nantes but broke out at Eintracht, scoring 26 goals and adding 17 assists in 50 appearances for the Bundesliga club.
