Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 940th senior goal while Joao Felix continued his fine start to life with Al-Nassr as they cruised to a 5-0 win over Al-Taawoun.
Having lost the Saudi Super Cup in a penalty shootout, Al-Nassr began their Saudi Pro League campaign in style.
Felix netted in the Super Cup semi-final, his first appearance for Al-Nassr following his move from Chelsea, and he needed only seven minutes to sweep home in his maiden league appearance.
Ronaldo doubled Al-Nassr’s advantage by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot nine minutes into the second half after Waleed Al-Ahmed was ruled to have handled in the area.
A minute later, Kingsley Coman headed in his first goal for Al-Nassr following his move from Bayern Munich, looping a header over the goalkeeper after getting on the end of a long ball forward.
Felix doubled his tally in the 67th minute, adding gloss to the scoreline by powering a piledriver from the edge of the area into the top-right corner.
And he had the final say three minutes from time with a much simpler finish, rolling the ball in after a deflected cross cannoned off the crossbar.
