Leeds have let forward Patrick Bamford leave the club after seven years.
The 31-year-old scored 60 goals for the club after signing from Middlesbrough, including 17 in the Premier League in the 2020-21 season.
Manager Daniel Farke said before the start of the season that the former England international was unlikely to feature this season after failing to score in the Championship last year.
Leeds said: “Patrick departs Elland Road as a two-time champion and double promotion winner. He will forever be a part of our proud history.
“There has never been any doubt in Patrick’s enthusiasm in representing Leeds United and his understanding of respecting our famous club badge. He has given everything to the cause and is welcome back at Elland Road, anytime.”
As a free agent Bamford can join a club after Monday’s transfer deadline.
